Haha, I have the Paris Hilton perfume. It smells sweet. Kinda too sweet actually.

 

How much gold did you spend to get that one? ;o

 

My granny bought it to me for my birthday. (which was in April)
She bought it from Finland. So I don't know how much it costed in there.

The descriptions of the perfume sound kinda good though. Except that, I hope that it doesn't smell intoxicating-ly sweet. ;o

 

ok, i finally got a chance to visit the akb store, here in akihabara, or akiba for short.....i spent a lot, but it was worth it, little did i know, just shortly after paying for my goods, there was a small line forming, a few guys standing next to an akb girl, 1260 yen for a poem book autographed by MARIKO SHINODA!! i quickly stood in line, and bought a book, and i met her in person. She held my hand for a few minutes as i got to talk to her in my limited japanese skills. She understood me, and said Atsui desu ne..i told her that i loved her and akb48, that i am from Los Angeles, and i told her Thank You, as she smiled back at me. They didn:t let me take any pix, but she made my whole trip so much better, even if i won:t get the chance to see them in concert this time. She is so beautiful upfront and in person, standing at nearly 165cm, tall. so goregous!!!!

 

Oh wow, congratulations qilver! Such a shame you didn't get into the theatre, but actually MEETING Mariko must have been AMAZING.

Argh, I so want to be you right now.

 

yeah, her beautiful smile alone, put her in my top favorite akb48 girl, and she shook my hand, for what seemed for 2 minutes, which is the best souvenir i can get, meeting her in person. also got her autograph from some poem book i bought from her, anyone can read kanji?

I heard at first there was no plan to have a hand shaking event.
But since Mariko said she wanna talk to fans in person, suddenly the event was held.

it's been almost 6 weeks since meeting Mariko-sama. The handshaking event is still fresh in my mind as i visual what it was truly like meeting my favorite AKB girls. I posted some of that event on my Japan trip weblog, not sure if some of you check it out already. You'll see her Portrait where i photographed while i visited the AKB floor last month. Unfortunately, they did not allow photographs of her while at the event. I just love her. check out my weblog, i think it is under my "www".

Extensions are just as popular in Japan as they are in the US, I'm sure. And maybe Mariko just wanted to try a new look, have fun with long hair, you know.

I have a bunch of short-haired girl friends who love putting on extensions once in while.
