Shinoda Mariko (Mariko-san) / 1st Generation

I guess it was short. She looks great in the extension hair, but somehow looks different. Well I prefer the short hair mariko sama

 

i prefer mariko without exensions maybe was the habit but in my opinion she is better without extensions

 

I agree. Her short hair is her charm point for me! It's just so fitting for her.

when i met her early last month, she had her natural short hair...so hawt!

I'm imaginig mariko's using the hair extension and duet with atsuko, kinda looks like Tatu dont you think?
Mariko being Lena Katina and atsuko being yulia volkova?
Atsuko would fit volkova alright. If mariko's extensions were curly, she'll fit Katina.

She wasn't when I was there. She had her hair in a cute little ponytail the first time I saw her. Reminded me slightly of Aya from Kibbon no Kishi. But Mariko's was smaller as she has less hair.

 

from watching that AKB tv show that i just d/l'ed, it seems quite recent, and Mariko-sama is growing out her hair, but she didn't wear the hair extensions in the video, maybe it was just a short fashion phase, and somehow it is hard to imagine Mariko with long long hair, since we are use to seeing her with the short cute hairstyle.

 

Her hair may have been longer than it usually is. I hope she doesn't grow it long as I prefer her with the shorter hair too.

Welcome, Ladies and GentleWotas, to the first and inofficial meeting of the
MSSHPS (Mariko-Sama Short Hair Preservation Society).
Our first and primary goal is, like the name says, to preserve her short haircut by drooling over hairdo. (Normally I like longer hair but Maririn + short hair = pure love)
Our second and *cough* secondary goal is to wish her well. I don't know, how exactly she injured her foot but I hope, it's nothing serious. So, send her all the love you can spare, so that she gets better soon.
Our third and... you know where this goes, don't you? Well, our third goal is to keep Wordsmith well supplied with coffee, else he might get more silly ideas like this one when he wakes up in the mornings.

yeah....how unfortunate, but with Mariko-sama's case, i think she might attend and atleast work in the cafe to greet fans, gosh i wish i could meet her again in person..and i hope she get well soon, doesn't sound that serious, thankfully. I want to see her again.
