The ship is probably one of the investors tho, this is probably a permanent thing.

Since one of the target prefecture is Oita (which overlaps as one of HKT's target as well so MESS) will Sasshi gets involve too? Since thats her prefecture afterall.

 

I could imagine someone from 13th gen this time to be transferred to become the captain of the group.

 

Perhaps they are collaborating with the cruise ship.

Also rather then opening theater in 7 cities, they just have 1 theater a float. New concept.

 

i just don't see the point in making another group when akb is still in the never ending loop of the "2nd chapter" every time a popular senbatsu member graduates, ske is crying for better management, nmb are still wondering if they can survive without sayanee, ngt hasn't even debuted yet, team 8 pretty much being a sister group that isn't being used to their full potential, and hkt somehow keeping afloat despite all of this. but anyway

its a pretty interesting concept, and in a way it saves management from trying to make more groups for certain areas in japan because they have a group that travels to different prefectures. One things for sure, that ship is gonna look so pretty but i can already imagine how expensive it's gonna be lol.
I wonder if they'll let other sister groups use the ship for whatever reason too (like for mv's or whatever).

Can imagine idols in sailor theme costumes! haha! meanwhile i think they push forward something new to keep fans in the 48 fan base with fresh ideas and also like accomplish their mission (Idols where you can meet!)
Them travelling to you is really where they go meet you!

 

瀬戸内(Setouchi) or 瀬戸内海 (Setou Nai Kai) or in English "Setou Inland Sea".. Is a Sea between Honshu Island and Shikoku Island...

So this group literarry not City Group like other, but a Sea Group..

@Mayu Paru yes, we can imagine, HKT48's costumes from their first tour are exactly that. But I like the idea in general.

There's also a port city called setouchi in Okayama too but its most likely refering to the sea

 

Well it's gonna take time before they have the theater. I like the cruise ship idea, except that it's dangerous when it rains.

I'm trying to make sense of the logistics of this and... wtf lol

OK, so the theatre will be IN the boat and this will be moving around the Setouchi Sea and visit the cities... but I doubt the girls will be LIVING on the boat, nor travelling with it (they have school and stuff).

So I imagine that they will make auditions in the 7 cities and just... have them travel from one city to the other when they're needed?

In the end, it will be some sort of Team 8, but having their own theatre (on the sea lol).

I guess we can expect another cover of MM's The Peace?

 

Seems like it tbh and those who arent from these prefecture can stay in the main city where the training/pratising rooms are and management is operated. Which is likely to be the stop city in Hiroshima?
