seems like there is no further information yet,even the name of the unit is still unknown.well this better be long-term unit and not just 1-shot.or else.. [sealed]

i doubt the new kks unit will get any major single debut soon,i guess they will stay low for a while. maybe from now on,they start with perform in concert only just like anrire.but then again nothing is impossible now, especially with that line-up and considering there is many big name graduated or declining in popularity..

This KKS unit is something I anticipate very much. Especially as it concerns Mioten. It has all the upsides and very few of the downsides of the whole center issue. With the choice of KKS, there is alot of potential with this unit. And I hope Kojimako centers this unit, the girl is beast. [rock] Plus Mioten with MikiMiki is just pure win in my book. There is a coupling I could get behind 100%. [nod]

There's still so much mystery about this group. I can't tell before i hear their track.

Yeah, it's the same unit they are debuting at Sapporo dome. I don't know why they the jumped the gun and announced it at Fukuoka, but there you have it. I don't know about Sapporo48, but I hope it does not happen anytime soon. I mean there are still new stages that need to be produced for all the teams and a new team that needs to be formed for HKT. A new group right now would be spreading things kind of thin.I NEED new stages for Team B, Team S and Team H! [nod] [nod] [nod] [nod]

I guess it's a little offtopic but the general consensus seems to be that people have no idea who Kitagawa and Shibuya are so I'll try to introduce them briefly. I'll spoiler it for being off-topic and a little longer than I wanted it to be.

Kitagawa Ryouha is a 6th gen SKE kenkyuusei. She is mostly known for being really good looking but also really shy. When Matsumura (Kaori) tried to film her she'd often avoid the camera as much as possible and if she couldn't get away she wouldn't say much. She appeared on Gugutasu no Wa, a corner Matsumura does for Playboy I believe, and you can see exactly what I mean. I've only watched one of her performances but my impression is that her performance isn't the greatest. Recently she also did some gravure which I'm sure you can find if you look around. I'm worried whether she'll be able to keep up with the other girls when it comes to performance but when it comes to looks she's at the top of the unit imo. (and don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to talk her down; I love her to bits, but she's got some work to do)

Shibuya Nagisa is a 4th gen NMB kenkyuusei. If you watch a performance with her in it I'm sure you'll immediately recognise why she's so popular. Personally it's the first time I've ever understood what people mean when they say a member has "an aura". She's center for the kenkyuusei performances and if she's anywhere else, like in performances from before Nishimura/Koga's promotions, it just feels sort of weird. I guess that's just my opinion though. Her catchphrase is among the best of the entire 48 group. Kinjirareta Futari with her and Matsumura Megumi is just amazing. I'd really recommend catching an NMB48 KKS LOD if you have the time, you won't regret it (the other NMB48 KKS are great as well!). Here's her introduction video which played at the Budokan concert last month so you can put a face to the name.

they probably announced the super-KKS unit so they could surprise the girls with it on stage as well, as it was their first time there too, that they got informed about it. and since they are going to perform in Sapporo they need to start practicing before that.

ah thanks for the info about ryoha and shibuya,im not familiar with ske and nmb kks.the only new kks i knew is kawakimi chihiro from nmb but to bad she isnt there..

ryoha is the one between kojimako and meru right?and shibuya is the one beside matsumura bbq..
certainly ryoha has extraordinary face,kinda look like actress naka riisa on her prime state.if nagisa shibuya have that kind of aura,then i guess she's as great as meru.what an intimidating line up,mio might not to shine in this unit tho for me she stood out the most no matter what..
just cant take my eyes off her..

That, and the thread can quiet at times. Glad you don't mind. It is not something I would do regularly, but I was kinda bored and had time between projects being due.

i can't be bored, actually my friend is going to see AKB48 in handshake events in september and i asked him if he could take my handmade letter to mio.(he's gonna handshake with meru, but there's a box available for those who wrote letter for all the members)

I have to write it in japanese and i have no confidence at all, but since i know Mio is reading letters, this is definitively worth a try!

Fortunately i have many people i know that would correct me if i write a sentence wrong.

I may be far away from Japan, but her smile has reached me through the whole world!

i will write the content of my letter so i can have your opinion about it, as soon as possible

About the new unit song, the only recording I heard had really poor quality. I'll withhold my judgment until a better quality recording shows up. Personaly I'm more interested in the choreography than in the song itself though, so I'm looking forward to when they're playing it in some TV show. Shouldn't be long now that they've officially announced the thing.

Not sure if everyone here saw it, but I posted a new translation related to Mioten in the new HKT translation thread. It seems that her ascension to center caused a stir among Japanese fans as well, which is not surprising. The article includes Sakura's post where she writes about feeling sad over this decision. I understand why they would include this information, but I hope the media doesn't turn this first gen vs second gen thing into a common theme for HKT.
