- Began taking dance lessons after watching Morning Musume performances in elementary school. By the time she was in middle school she was going to dance class 6 days a week
- Because of her intense dance schedule, she refrained from joining school clubs or getting a part-time job. She stopped going to dance lessons in her 2nd year of high school

- Has two Yorkshire Terrier dogs, Reo and Ramu
