She was a fan of AKB48 and NMB48 before participating in the AKB48 Group Draft Kaigi 2015. Her oshimen was Kotani Riho.
Her mother chose the name “Erii” after the lead female character from the 2001 Okinawa drama “Churasan”.
Her childhood dreams were to work in a cake shop, to work in an ice cream shop, and to be a member of AKB48.
She enjoyed junior high school the most out of all her school years.
If she were not an AKB48 member she would want to be a cashier or a part-time worker at Ichiran Ramen.
Staff members such as Kayano Shinobu and Hosoi Takahiro have commented on her incredible growth since debut, in all aspects of performance.
In 2018 she was one of six AKB48 members to performa at the Maya International Music Festival 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. While there she carried out a number of PR activities and appeared in three popular Thai TV programs.
In 2019 she was a member of the K-Pop Promotional group UHSN (유학소녀, Study Abroad Girls) under Source Music. UHSN was a girl group from the Korean TV Program "UHSN" that recruited 10 K-Pop fans from around the world to experience Korean culture for three weeks. They released their sole song, Popsicle, on July 11th, 2019.

In Episode 2 of AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san, members revealed that Erii's feet notoriously stink.
In Episode 3 of AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san, she won the episode's fashion competition thanks to an outfit coordinated by one of her fans, Saho-san. As a reward she appeared on the runway at Tokyo Girls' Collection Fall/Winter 2022.
- In a 100-Questions YouTube video she said that the runway appearance was one of her favorite activities as an AKB48 member to date.
She eats a lot of broccoli. She eats it so often that her fans once bought her a stuffed broccoli plushie.
She likes the anime Utau no Prince-sama. Her favorite character is Tokiya.
She is a fan of the J-pop idols uuka and Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu.
She is a fan of the K-Pop group TWICE. Her favorite members are Tzuyu, Jihyo, and Sana.
Her favorite actress is Kondo Chihiro.
Her favorite entertainer is Tsukitei Hosei, a former-comedian and Rakugo performer. She thinks he is cute and regularly watches his videos and TikToks.
She loves teeth and gums. She confessed that when she talks to a new person, she looks at their teeth more than their eyes. Fans at handshake events have asked her to rate their teeth before.

She doesn’t like to read, neither manga nor novels.
She is good at making green tea.
Her beauty rule is to always apply eyelash serum. However, she is worried about her eyelashes falling out.

Her favorite AKB48 song is High school days. In February 2022 she and Omori Maho created a music video for it in AKB48, Saikin Kiita? ~Issho ni Nanka Yatte Mimasen ka?~ episode 2.
She often sings Koike at karaoke. She also centered Koike at the AKB48 Tandoku Concert 2021.
In 2022 she revealed that she has never met or spoken to Akimoto Yasushi.

2015

In March, auditioned for AKB48's Draft audition.
In May, joined AKB48 as part of its 2nd Draft Generation, chosen by Team 4. She was their only choice.
On June 21st, had her theater debut as a Zenza Girl during a Team 4 stage.

2017

On March 15th, was part of her first AKB48 song, Accident Chu, on the group's 47th single Shoot Sign.
On September 27th, promoted to Team 4.

2018

On June 15th, participated in Produce 48.
- During the first judges evaluation, received grade F.
- During the first fan voting, placed 27th.
- During the second judges evaluation, received grade F.
- During the second fan voting, placed 38th.
- During the first performance competition, performed BOOMBAYAH by BLACKPINK.
- During the third fan voting, placed 23rd.
- During the fourth fan voting, placed 24th.
- During the second performance competition, performed Into the New World by Girls' Generation.
- During the fifth fan voting, placed 33rd and was eliminated.

2019

From May 23rd to July 18th, was the Japanese representative on Mnet's K-Pop reality show UHSN. The 10 girls of UHSN released their sole music video, Popsicle, on July 11th.

2021

On June 26th, was chosen as one of AKB48's representatives at the AKB48 Group Asia Festival 2021 ONLINE.
On July 30th, appeared in the September issue of BIG ONE GIRLS with a solo interview.
On September 29th, was part of her first senbatsu single, AKB48's 58th single Ne mo Ha mo Rumor.
On December 22nd, was one of 8 members to represent AKB48 at the Sky Perfect Idol Festival.
On December 8th, at the AKB48 16th Anniversary Team Shuffle, it was announced she would stay with Mukaichi Team A.

2022

On January 10th, appeared on "Yojigoji Days" (よじごじＤａｙｓ) alongside Honda Hitomi.

On March 9th, was part of the senshuuraku performance for Team A's Mokugekisha stage.
