Yeah, I've heard Korean too. In Tomotomo no Yagi-san, oide~, Kasai and Itano's radio show, they mention Yuko's grandmother(?) being part Korean, I believe. I don't remember which episode it was though.

Ooooh...maybe that explains why I've seen funny pictures of Yuko online with Korean text.

Why doesn't AKB sell their concert DVDs through normal channels? Does this have anything to do with their performances of the Defstar songs? just wondering cuz it sure would make life easier

 

And a little follow up to the question above, if I may - I assume the answers may be related - one can get SKE stage CDs from YA, but not AKB.. why?

 

DVDs: Considering that even Stage DVDS, which have King Records songs on them, are still sold just by AKS online, they're probably just trying to get the largest profit possibile by selling to fans without a middleman.

^They are owned by different record labels and distributors.

 

i had that gut feeling that she has some european blood. yukiko has that same facial characteristics that i see from some girls here in Manila (those with spanish blood)

i think that's why she is not that appealing to me, i got used to seeing that kind of beauty almost everyday

I don't know if somebody asked this before, but I'm curious about the composers of the AKB48 songs. Is there only a composer? a pool of them? do they compose for other groups too? [think]

 

There's only one composer, who also happens to be the producer
......and his name is Akimoto Yasushi
He composes every songs (AKB48, SKE48, SDN48)

 

Aki-P is the Lyricist (for the most part anyway) for pretty much all the songs for AKB48 and all its sister groups, spinoffs and subgroups. That I know of, Yoshimasa Inoue has composed Keibetsu,Seifuku and all the tracks since Oogoe Diamond with the exception of Sakura no Shiori (composed by Candy&Megane) (..though I'm not sure about PonyShu yet, but going by sound, it's probably him) with Aki-P writing the lyrics.

Someone in the Kokoro no Hane thread, also wrote that the guy who wrote Kokoro no Hane also wrote Namida no Shinkokyuu, Innocence and Pinnochio Gun, so I'm thinking that the stages were composed by different people too...though I have no idea where to find that info..
