It’s my first time doing
the Legend performance
outside of the HKT
theater, so yeah, I
got a bit uneasy!

But when we got on
stage, I just through to

I got your back Madoka's my 2nd favorite HKT member, right after Sakuratan. She first caught my eye simply because she looked different from all the other HKT members. Maybe it was her height, maybe it was her face, I don't know, but she definitely stood out in a good way. And then during the Unit Matsuri 2013 was when I really became interested when she performed Faint with Jurina and Tomu. Jurina and Tomu are already relatively tall among AKB members, so to see Madoka taller than them, I was like WTF?! Then I checked her height, and it turns out she's pretty much as tall as me, or a little taller, depending on when her profile was last updated.

At first, I thought she was this like "majime" type of girl (PV preview of Suki Suki Skip! have given me that impression), but watching how she acts in videos, it turns out, not so much. She's mature, sure, but there's still this younger side to her. I'm still a relatively new HKT fan, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing more of her in the future. I'm glad of the attention she got during the Rinji Soukai concert broadcast on Sunday. :music:

So, from a new Madoka fan to all the other Madoka fans, what about her makes you like her? Er...besides looks, because we all know she's slender and looks great.

Hello! Moripo's thread is not really popular huh. [shock]
I've been observing her for last few months. She grew quickly on me and I can't pick between her or Sakuratan as my HKT 1st oshimen.
She's pretty (no doubt) and I like her because she doesn't talk much on variety shows but, she has deadly smile.

I've watched when she performed Ame no Pianist with Yukirin and Natsu. She's awesome!
I wonder what is her height exactly? She makes Yukirin looks short standing next to her.

 

Just gonna drop a post here then. I don't think her popularity is sinking at all, at least in Japan. She's probably #4 or #5 in HKT at the moment and with the exposure she's getting it can really only get better.

I'm still deciding how I'm going to divide my votes for the election but I'm probably dropping at least 10 of them on Madoka. I'm fairly confident she can rank in so fingers crossed.

Also, if you understand Japanese, Madoka has a (pre-recorded, of course) 20-minute long, daily show on a Fukuoka radio station that someone on Youtube is uploading every day. There's a different HKT member as a guest every week. It's pretty fun to listen to.

chiuchimu was just referring to her popularity here on the forum. In Japan, there's no way her popularity's dropping right now. Her handshakes for Sayonara Crawl sold out 4th round (at least for July 7th), right after all the senbatsu members. I know, because I was trying for them

And nice! I really salute you. 10 votes is the sort of thing that will really make a difference, especially in the lower ranks. I wish I was as confident as you in her ranking. Realistically, I can see about 5-6 HKT members ranking, but I don't know if she's popular enough, more so than people like Mio and Meru. I'm still torn on whether I should divert some of my votes for her, since she's not in my top 5, but if enough people like you vote, then it really would be possible to give her at least a lower ranking, and I would love to see that.

 

Besides being tall, beautiful, and funny, she is a straight shooter. She says what she thinks. I like that!
