For some reason, the long hair and the bangs remind me of a soccer mom. (Probably because I'm currently watching a TV show involving a soccer mom character with the same hairstyle.) It still looks good on her though. XD

I think we have been lucky in the sense that we have been spared a lot of commotion and drama from the shuffle as much as Takamina had. It probably feels good to stay in one team for almost 10 years.

Hi everyone, nice to be joining this great thread. I'm another fan of Minami

As a new guy around, here is my view on why she participated:

From my understanding, there is no event more publicized and talked about in AKB48 then the Sousenkyo, nor one that brings more profit. Her participating adds a lot of CD sales, which is beneficial to the group so she participates for the overall good, even if it is just because of management. Being "THE leader" (the soul, the essence etc) and participating also sets a good example which is that if "even you by participating may not gain much, you still should do it because if lots of members decide to not participate then it becomes everyone loss" (the group sells less, is less talked about, has less interested persons in it and will pass through difficult times). And if there is anyone that is the staple of thinking in the good of others and the group it's her. Just my opinion.


And hey, I also like TakAbs and Takalonghair.
