• Special Skills: Soft tennis, impersonating Totoro's grandmother
• She originally applied to become a Keyakizaka46 member because she was a fan of Nogizaka46. Her favorite member was Akimoto Manatsu.
  • She considered auditioning for the first Keyakizaka46 audition, but ultimately thought she wouldn't be able to get in. Later, when she watched the Keyakizaka46 first generation members on Keyakitte, Kakenai?, she regretted not auditioning. She decided to apply for the Hiragana Keyakizaka46 audition, and as she progressed through the rounds, she affirmed her feelings that Sakamichi Series groups were special. When she was accepted, she cried a lot.
• She has an older sister and a younger sister.
• She has a chihuahua named "Kuromame-kun".
• She worked part-time at Family Mart for three years before becoming an idol. She claims to be fast at using a cash register.
• She enrolled in a junior college in 2016 (and has since presumably graduated).
• She once waited in line for three hours to buy two R2-D2-shaped popcorn buckets, and said later that she regretted not getting three.
• She was the first member of Hinatazaka46 to be chosen for Sakamichi AKB Senbatsu, though she was still a member of Hiragana Keyakizaka46 at the time.
• She is close friends with Sasaki Kumi and former member Kakizaki Memi.
• She has a "my pace"-type personality.
• Her catchphrase is "Cool Fool" (Kuuru Anpontan). It was created by her mother.
  • Sasaki Mirei proposed the catchphrase "Kind, Cute, Katoshi. I'm Kato Shiho." (Yasashii, Kawaishi, Katoshi. Kato Shiho desu.) but Shiho didn't like it and only used it once.
• She became close with Nogizaka46 member Yamashita Mizuki after they both became CanCam exclusive models.
• She was the first Hinatazaka46 member to open an Instagram account.

2016

• On May 11th, passed the auditions to become a member of Hiragana Keyakizaka46's 1st Generation.

2018

• From August to September, appeared in the stageplay Madoka Magica's Magia Record Musical.
• In November, appeared on the stageplay ZAMBI as a member of Team Blue.

2019

• On February 11th, it was announced that Hiragana Keyakizaka46 would become a new independent group, Hinatazaka46. Shiho would therefore become part of Hinatazaka46's 1st Generation.
• On February 13th, was appointed as exclusive model for Cancam.
• Starting in April, she appears on the radio program Rekomen every Tuesday night.
• From October to December, appears on Dogenzaka Connection as assistant MC.

2021

• From March to May, appointed as monthly regular for TBS Love It! (ラヴィット!) on Tuesdays. She is the first Sakamichi member to appear as a regular on the program.
• From March to July, appeared in the drama Shuugaku Ryokou.
• In April, was appointed as the center for the 5th single, Kimi Shika Katan.
• On May 25th, threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Yohokama DeNA BayStars vs Orix Buffaloes game.

2022

• On February 2nd, started her Instagram account. She was the first Hinatazaka46 member to open an account.

2023

• On May 5th and 17th, appeared on "Ookami Shounen Hamada Kayousai" (オオカミ少年 ハマダ歌謡祭).
  • On the 17th, appeared together with AKB48's Honda Hitomi and former =LOVE member Saito Nagisa.
• On June 20th, released her 1st photobook #Aitai.
