- Her parents named her "Orin" because she was born in the same year as the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics. "Orin" (おりん) reads similar to the Japanese spelling of "Olympics" (Orinpikku オリンピック).
- When she was in 4th grade of elementary school she was the runner-up in a national full-contact karate tournament. She can split wooden boards with a chop.
- She auditioned for Keyakizaka46 and Nogizaka46’s 3rd generation in the past.

- She was diagnosed with coronavirus on August 13th, 2021. She resumed activities on August 24th, 2021.
- She appeared in three stage plays from February to June 2022: "Iwakakeru - Sport Climbing Girls", "Hanayome wa Ame no Senritsu", and "Zip & Candy" (double cast with Fukuoka Seina).

2016
- On December 8, at the 11th anniversary of AKB48 joined AKB48.
2017
- On December 8, one year after debut and at the 12th anniversary of AKB48 and during the AKB48 12th Anniversary Shuffle, was promoted to Team K.
2019
- On August 17, during the Team K concert of the AKB48 Zenkoku Tour 2019 in Saitama, held her first center position together with her sister Muto Tomu for Kibouteki Refrain.
2021
- On December 8th, at the AKB48 16th Anniversary Team Shuffle, it was announced she would be transferred to Mukaichi Team A.
2022
- In February, was part of the stage play "Iwakakeru - Sport Climbing Girls".
- On March 31st, was part of the senshuuraku performance for Team K's RESET stage.
- In April, was part of the stage play "Hanayome wa Ame no Senritsu".
- On April 19th, was transferred to Mukaichi Team A.
- In June, was part of the stage play "Zip & Candy".
- On June 17th, had her first appearance on AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san (AKB48サヨナラ毛利さん).
- On July 16th and 23rd, appeared in episodes 9 and 10 of AKB48 no Uta (AKB48の歌).
2023
- On April 20th, participated in AKB48's audition show OUT OF 48. She also sang the theme song Your Super Girl.
- On May 19th, was on the cover of the fishing magazine "Angling Salt" alongside Taniguchi Megu, Takahashi Sayaka, Nagano Serika, Omori Maho and Komiyama Haruka for winning a fishing competition on AKB48, Saikin Kiita yo ne... ~Ishho ni Nanka Yatte Mimasen ka?~.
- On October 17, transferred to AKB48 Regular Members after the disbandment of Team A.
