  • She is known for her serious (majime) personality, especially during variety shows and theater performances. Theater manager Yuasa Hiroshi called Nana "a perfectionist and stoic hard worker. She takes what she is given and returns it at 120%".
    • She developed a code of conduct for the AKB48 Kenkyuusei while she was one.

  • She often dyes her hair. She is one of the few 48 Group members to have a hair color that wasn't a shade of blonde, brown, or black. However, in November 2022 she decided she to dye it back to black after turning 25 to allow the hair to heal.
  • In August 2021 she appeared as a guest at the JF Oberlin University 100 Cherry Blossoms Festival, modeling a kimono for their kimono fashion show.

  • In early 2023, she shared that she suffered from bulimia and binge eating disorders, which began during her time as a AKB48 member. It became so severe that she had to take hiatus from May to June 2016. After moving out of her family home and into her own apartment, she found it easier to moderate her eating habits and was able to start recovering.
