A concurrent position (兼任, Kennin) is a position where a member of AKB48 Group, Sakamichi Series or SNH48 Group becomes a member of two different groups and teams at the same time.

The concurrent position format was first introduced at the Saitama Super Arena Concert.

Bolded dates indicate active concurrencies.

Trivia

  • Miyazawa Sae was the first member to ever cancel her concurrency, before she even took part in the stage show. She decided to stay with SNH48 for more time to focus on building the group
  • Aninditha Rahma Cahyadi was the first 48G member to have a triple concurrent possition, being in 3 different team at once on one group only.
